Prospectors like you get to explore over 128 square kilometers of terrain with caves and different biomes on two maps, Olympus and Styx. You can harvest every tree, mine every rock, and hunt every animal. Plus, you can tame and ride mounts and craft advanced tech to gather resources faster.
You get to master three tech trees: planetary tech, player talents, and the orbital workshop. There are four tiers of technology to unlock, from basic stuff to advanced electronics, and seven different building materials. The game offers over 100 talents to customize your character, from exploring and building to farming, hunting, taming, and fighting. When you go back to the orbital workshop, you can trade exotic matter for advanced tech and items to help you on your next drop.
There are three game modes: Open World, timed Missions, and creative Outposts. In Open World, you battle the elements and predators to survive and test your skills. In Missions, you complete tasks for power brokers, mining exotics, and earning Ren, all while building a base from scratch and escaping in time. In Outposts, you can get creative with regenerating resources and safe environments.
