Mad Devils: Damned-finitive Edition is a retro co-op arcade shooter that takes you back to the 1990s with a twisted WWII setting. The game follows an Allied special forces squad known as the Mad Devils, who hunt Nazi occultists. In the final days of WWII, a desperate Nazi war machine turns to the occult. Major Strauss, a maniacal figure, plans to open the gates of Hell itself. The Mad Devils are deployed to stop this insane plan, but their heroism falls short. Defeated and damned, they regroup in the underworld for one last mission. Cast into the abyss, the revenant Sergeant Jack Asher must explore hell to reassemble his fallen squad. Each team member has been warped and twisted, now gifted with demonic powers. Your expert crew is armed with elemental and ethereal magics, and you must master them all to finish your fight.
To combat the Nazi’s demonic ambitions, you’ll need more than just guns. Collect demonic crystals to empower your weapons, develop your powers, and earn experience through violence. The netherworld is a varied place, with parts being a perpetually-burning wasteland, twisted reflections of the mortal world, dense overgrowth, frozen landscapes, and fortifications by damned Nazi legions. Hell has become a warzone, populated with undead, ravenous demons, and infernal Nazis who didn’t learn their lesson the first time.
The roster of playable demon soldiers expands from six to eight, each with unique abilities and weapons. You can fight side-by-side with either a friend or an AI squad mate. The game boasts 1990s retro co-op shooter action and a rich story campaign written by UK author Dr. Greg Buchanan, known for his work on No Man’s Sky: Atlas Rises, Paper Brexit, and Metro Exodus.
